Whether you are big on food & wine pairings or not, for as long as you are in Paris, I am sure a meal at the Il Vino by Enrico Bernardo will be one that is enjoyable.
I had a “Mother & Daughter” lunch date with my mom last Friday at Graze at Martin 38. Choosing the right place was my number 1 top priority, it should be one that is peaceful & relaxing but at the same time, serves good food. Graze at Martin 38 immediately came to my mind.
Paul bakery recently opened it’s first branch in Singapore and I wanted to see whether it is as good as it is in Europe hence my visit last Thursday. I had lunch together with my mom, who’s visiting me for a few days and Jenny, my ex-colleague.
Had breakfast at Toby’s Estate last Sunday morning. The weather was really good, gentle morning breeze over blue skies and like most early morning diners, we also wanted to be seated outdoors to enjoy the good day.
Nice concept; good ambiance but a disappointing meal in Paris.

Hotel Costes is located along the busy shopping steet of Saint honoré Paris. Although the hotel occupies a big frontage, you’ll still find yourself walking up and down the street without finding it. The entrance does not have any visible signage that helps unfamiliar tourists (like us) to locate the place easier. So, just in case someone plans a visit, the image above can be your guide.

The weekend went past so fast and now, it’s Monday Wednesday again (I wanted to publish this earlier but got caught up with work related issues *sigh). I started my weekend by spending half a day cleaning the apartment thinking that this just another typical weekend in town – house chores, Orchard Road shopping and dining out. Little did I know, a planned surprise awaits me moments after I smell “cleanliness” at home.

It didn’t matter if was Selwyn’s first and last time to suggest something during our recent trip to London because the result was fantastic – the best breakfast we’ve ever had in London – at Megan’s.
