It has always been a struggle to balance out our itineraries when it comes to visiting a city so close to home like Hong Kong. Are we willing to miss out on our usual favourites and do something different or are we going to be boring and do the exact same thing all over again?
But since we’re not a big fan of “stress”, we just played it by ear, followed our instincts and just do what we feel like doing. I guess this is what travelling should be, an enjoyable experience together with the people you are with – Simple & fun.
Here are some photos of our recent trip:

I spent 2 half days in the mountains looking like this…

… and when I am back in the city, I look like this.

Selwyn seems to be eating all the time.

…and slowly convinced Ton to break his diet.

Ton’s 1st hour in Hong Kong.

Sweet Dynasty’s mango pudding with tofu tastes really different this time. It tasted way better before they moved to their new location in Hankow Road.

Chill out at the Tapas Bar, Kowloon Shangri-La

Buffet Dinner at The Kitchen, W Hotel

Ton wanted to take home one of these…

Had a super heavy lunch at Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop, IFC Mall

Mexican food at Socialito, Whyndham Street, Central

Found out that Nespresso bullets are a tad cheaper in Hong Kong.

Brunch at Tim Ho Wan, IFC Mall just before we head to the airport.

… ate again at the airport – Saboten.

Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop, Airport.
And with that, another holiday past, more fun memories created.
