It has always been a struggle to balance out our itineraries when it comes to visiting a city so close to home like Hong Kong. Are we willing to miss out on our usual favourites and do something different or are we going to be boring and do the exact same thing all over again?
After spending 6 weeks in North America, I was finally back in Asia – Hong Kong. I and my parents plus my cousin who joined us from Manila, spent the remaining 3 days of my mega vacation in Hong Kong.
It has been a few years since my last visit at UNO and I have already forgotten about how good their breads (and food) are until last week. It was during lunch, after my acupuncture and I was really hungry so while waiting for our food, I set my eyes & prepare my tummy for the breads.
My last meal in Manila was at Mesa in Tomas Morato. The food was impressive and the price, relatively “cheap” (by local & Singapore Standards). No regrets on the calories that went into my tummy that night! Delish!
I have been hearing a lot from my dad about the burgers at Charlie’s Grill for as long as I can remember, so I was quite thrilled when I heard that we are going there for dinner last Thursday.
I had an enjoyable time hanging out with my long time friends – Dara, Rochie, Emman & Coco during my recent visit to Manila a few weeks ago. We decided to have dinner at the Peri-Peri Grill House and desserts at Bizu in Greenhills.

Delicious Kitchen is the home of the Best Pork Rib Rice ever for me. It is a small restaurant in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong that serves simple Chinese comfort food. I have also noticed during the times that I have visited that, Delicious Kitchen has become increasingly popular amongst the Filipino tourists.
Another “must visit” place while in Hong Kong – The Sweet Dynasty.
The Sweet Dynasty is located along Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. It is opposite the Marco Polo Gateway Hotel & the long stretch of shopping malls within the vicinity – Harbour City, Ocean Terminal & the Gateway.
