A narrow alley filled with small yakitori stalls where most can only accommodate about 6 to 8 people at most.  Most of the stalls were packed with local “chillaxers” enjoying their beers and sakes together with their yakitoris while the alley, crowded with tourists holding their cameras up high in the aim to take a good shot of what seems to be an interesting “chaotic” scene.

Getting a spot inside the stalls was a challenge, Selwyn & I were one of the lucky few – non Japanese that night.

Let’s get the facts straight first – Our first time in the alley, we no speak Japanese, they no speak English, we pretend we know ok?
