If you have just done your shopping, walking along the streets of Champs-Élysées then continuing on to Avenue Montaigne, most likely your feet will start to hurt (and it seems like moving one more step could just potentially cripple you for the rest of your life), if you are feeling this, all you need to do is to STOP – for a cup of coffee or a bottle of coke.

Best Roast Diuck in London

Two of my favourite roast duck place in London are Gold Mine Restaurant (above) & Four Seasons and both are a few meters apart in Bayswater. As far as I know Gold Mine has only 1 outlet in London while Four Seasons has three – Chinatown, Wardour Street & Bayswater.

We visited both restaurant and surprisingly, their roast duck smells and tastes as good or even better than what we could get here in Singapore.

Rosso Pomodoro

We had lunch at Rosso Pomodoro on our last day in Florence.  Rosso Pomodoro is a chain of restaurant with over 80 outlets worldwide, but because of the negative connotation often associated with “restaurant chains”, we were a little bit apprehensive for a moment until we were re-assured by a real Italian homemaker.

“Let me put it this way, in our family, it is either I make the pizza or we visit Rosso Pomodoro” – Mamma Italiano; hotel owner.
