The Laughing Gravy is another restaurant worth trying whether you live or just visiting London.
London Restaurants
Two of my favourite roast duck place in London are Gold Mine Restaurant (above) & Four Seasons and both are a few meters apart in Bayswater. As far as I know Gold Mine has only 1 outlet in London while Four Seasons has three – Chinatown, Wardour Street & Bayswater.
We visited both restaurant and surprisingly, their roast duck smells and tastes as good or even better than what we could get here in Singapore.
It didn’t matter if was Selwyn’s first and last time to suggest something during our recent trip to London because the result was fantastic – the best breakfast we’ve ever had in London – at Megan’s. And because of that, I reckon Megan’s should be in everyone’s list of best breakfast places in London, so if Megan’s is not in your list yet, I urge you to add it NOW!
London, April 29, 2012.
We had lunch at the Maze Gordon Ramsay (1-Star Michelin) on our 2nd day in London. We made an unglamorous entrance greeting the hostess with our rain-soaked coats and umbrellas. Yes, we did not come in a fancy car, we are tourists (well except for my cousins – the 2-week old Londoners) and we walked.
I was hoping to bump into Jamie Oliver during our visit but obviously I did not – see the trout below? that could have been a photo of me and Jamie instead! lol!
