It has always been a struggle to balance out our itineraries when it comes to visiting a city so close to home like Hong Kong. Are we willing to miss out on our usual favourites and do something different or are we going to be boring and do the exact same thing all over again?
Hong Kong Travel
Just came back from a 4-day trip in Hong Kong with Selwyn last week and we’ve decided to give our itinerary a little twist this time – to include hiking. Apart from appreciating the other side of Hong Kong & staying fit, it also made us feel less guilty every time we sat down and indulge ourselves with good food.
After spending 6 weeks in North America, I was finally back in Asia – Hong Kong. I and my parents plus my cousin who joined us from Manila, spent the remaining 3 days of my mega vacation in Hong Kong.
I am back in Singapore! I was so happy to hear that our flight back to Singapore from Hong Kong was 1 hour shorter than the other way around but nevertheless, I was still dead tired when I reached home.
After the 4-hour plane ride from Singapore, we finally arrived Hong Kong. The plane was delayed for a few minutes and I can’t wait to get out – quick check-in to the hotel then meet my cousin, Ton.
Ton came to HKG from Guangzhou for 1 night to meet up with my other cousin, (Achie) Twink. Twink is based in Manila but she is celebrating her birthday here in Hong Kong. Hello globalisation!
Selwyn & I are going to Hong Kong tomorrow! It will be a short 4-day trip but I am sure we will have a blast – as always!
It seems like I will be bringing more gadgets than clothes this trip. Here are my essentials…
- X-Mini Speakers
- Panasonic Lumix GX-1 + Olympus 12mm F2.0 Lens
- Panasonic Leica 25mm F1.4 Lens
- Samsung Note
- Travel Adaptor
- iPod Classic
- iPhone 4S
- 11″ MacBook Air
- Lifetron Portable Charger
Early flight, need some sleep soon. Ciao!
