My day started quite early the day I left for Manila, I was up at 4am to prepare for Sel’s 6am flight to North America and I couldn’t go back to sleep thereafter so I started to clean the house and prepare (luggage & online check-in) for my own flight at 2pm, the same day.

I arrived back in Singapore with my mother last night from Manila en-route to Scandinavia tonight. Five days in Manila went past so fast that there was absolutely no time to even turn on my computer, let alone blog. So here is a short recap just before I get ready to go to the airport again.

I was scheduled to travel to Manila tomorrow for a 12-day visit but when I saw the flood photos on twitter this morning, I decided I should re-book my flights to a later date instead. I did not want to be stranded at the airport for who knows how long… if things goes from bad to worst.
