According to my mother, the best bagel place in the whole of Manhattan is the one 3 streets down the road from us – Daniel’s Bagel. I am not sure whether to believe her or not so I did a bit of research using best friend Google before heading down.
I tried the bagel and scrambled egg on a cinnamon and raisins bagel, I am not a big fan of cream cheese anyway.
I had second thoughts before my first bite – should I have ordered the plain bagel with the egg instead?

I had half of my bagel and bagged the rest together with mom’s take away order. The bagel by itself tasted really fresh with good cinnamon flavours but having it with the savoury egg…hmm – not my ideal pair.
Daniel’s bagel to some, may be the best bagel in town but then again, it’s just a bagel, how bad can it get — seriously?
