Riverpark – Tom Colicchio Restaurant

March 3, 2012 · 1 comment in New York Restaurants

Overlooking the East River, NYC is Riverpark.

We had an early lunch and it was really enjoyable, we had the whole restaurant for ourselves for atleast 30mins – It was relaxing and fun.  I was also able to take photos of our food & the interiors without receiving weird stares from the next table – which I normally get by the way…

Freshly baked bread with sea salt. I could do without my mains – it’s that good!

Braised Chicken Soup – Charred Kale, Root Vegetables, Cilantro

Grilled Lamb & Freekeh Salad – Squash, Mustard Greens, Pomegranate, Yogurt

Pork Steak – Roasted Mushrooms, Cippolini, Cranberries, Swiss Chard

Black Forrest Sundae – Devil’s Food Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Brandied Cherries, Pistachio

Mixed Fruit Sorbet

The portion was huge and all the flavours went well together.  Definitely coming back next time. Highly recommended.
