The Chicken Burger
Schnipper’s is the Home of the Sloppy Joe Throwdown (2009) on Food Network’s Bobby Flay Throwdown series and guess what?…it is also conveniently located outside Hanna’s (lil sister) regular church in New York. So, we decided to pop in for a quick dinner just before night service starts.
There were no sloppy joes on our table that night but instead we opted for the less-sinful choice – but equally as unhealthy.

Chicken Dog with Cheese

Sweet Potato (“Kamote”) Chips
I was watching the Throwdown Series the night before and remembered that I have these photos somewhere in my computer, after seeing my old files, I was like darn! I should have ordered the sloppy joe instead.

There’s Hanna in the photo trying to choose something that Mother won’t end up screaming at her. No screaming happened, so that’s good. Although both of them were patiently squeezing out the oil from every “chip” that they eat – using the paper towels. lol!

Schnipper’s canteen style of dining experience is very similar to that of Ikea’s.

Looking at these photos makes me miss my family more – sometimes it makes me wonder the reasons why we choose to live this way – four (Dad, mom me and sis) people in 3 different countries. *Sigh*
Anyway, to find out more on Schnipper’s visit this link [HERE].
