Even how much I love the sandwiches and soups at the Marmalade Toast in Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya), I rarely remember it’s existence especially when I am too engrossed with my shopping.
I am blogging my latest visit to the Marmalade Toast because I want to remember this cafe and, I want it permanently engraved into my subconscious.
The Marmalade Toast offers a selection of salads, sandwiches and desserts. Their signature home-made cupcakes are also very popular amongst the cupcakes fanatics.
My personal favourites are: Mushroom Soup (S$3.50), Chicken Cesar Sandwich (S$9), Chicken Masala Wrap (S$9) & Smoked Turkey with Cranberries Sandwich (S$9).
Last week, Sel & I went in for a light lunch and we each ordered a sandwich. Both our sandwiches were good as expected.
The Chicken Masala Wrap (Sel’s)
Indian spiced chicken with fresh mango, romaine lettuce and mint.

Chicken Caesar Sandwich – Ciabatta Bread (Mine)
I especially like the bread and the caesar dressing. Yum!

This cafe is located outside the main shopping area, just before the taxi drop-off point, facing the road. It is not easy to find this place, use the mall directory or go to the customer service counter for directions.
