I was on my thirties when I began to appreciate the joy of having a good croissant and now, it has became one of my favourite choice of bread whenever I chance upon them in a bakery. From the classic to the chocolates to the almond croissants, I love them all equally.
About 2 weeks ago, Sel & went to the newish Tiong Bahru Bakery at the basement of Raffles City Mall in City Hall while killing time, waiting for my turn to get my eyebrows trimmed (lol, too much info!).
Tiong Bahru Bakery is one of Spa Esprit Group’s latest addition to their already well-known food outlets – Forty Hands Cafe, Open Door Policy to name a few.
I had my eyes glued on the croissants immediately after I spotted them on the counter. The sea of delicious looking pastries and sandwiches did not pull me away from what I had in mind – the almond croissants. And so we had a croissant and a latte onsite and then…
… bagged home 6 more croissants, it must be that yummy yeah? To go was 2 classics, 2 almonds and 2 chocolate almonds, everything had its merits but my favourite was my first choice – the plain almond.
