Bonifacio Singapore

One of the more decent Filipino Restaurant near my current workplace (Tanjong Pagar Area).  Looking at their menu, I won’t deny that for a minute I was really tempted order the all-day breakfast – tocino, tapa, corned beef, but have decided otherwise.

This restaurant tends to be quieter during dinner time compared to its lunch crowd.  I really like the fact that I can have dinner in peace, I don’t think I can handle any additional stress after a long day at work.

Filipino Restaurant

Bayan KoEggplant Omelette with Minced Pork.  You can finish this dish without even knowing there is an eggplant somewhere inside the egg.  Perfect for those who do not like vegetables.

Filipino Restaurant

Tokwa’t TokwaDeep fried tofu served with vinegar soy sauce.  Traditionally served with pork – Tokwa’t Baboy, but I did my little special order this time without the pork.

Filipino Restaurant

Bagnet Kare-KareDeep fried pork belly topped with thick peanut sauce with vegges and shrimp paste (Bagoong) on the side.

Sel was hoping for a thinner peanut sauce for the Kare-Kare but that’s his personal choice, I doubt it has much effect on the overall flavour anyway.

We had to rush home right after dinner to wait for the arrival of Monsieur Anton, who is visiting for a few days before heading to his new home country – the home of our great grand parents – Mainland China.
