Hello Day 2! I was still on jetlag and the day started with again, a gloomy, windy, rainy weather. Believe me, underneath that famous naughty grin that I have, is one frozen body.
I prepared myself for the weather with an inner long sleeve heat tech shirt, an inner shirt, an outer shirt, my wool jacket and another wool poncho/shawl. I also wore winter leggings underneath my jeans with a pair of boots over. Wow, since when did I wear this much? I am more like the “don’t worry, I can take the cold” type of person.

And if I am cold, what more for Sel? The person that puts on a long sleeve shirt to sleep even when in Singapore just with aircon. He looks like Wally from Where’s Wally here with the bonnet.
We took these shots while waiting for the train on our way to Victoria Station to meet with Garzi.

Zhiella was our official photographer yesterday and Gareth was the photographer’s assistant.
We went to the usual sights, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben at Parliament House, London Eye and Westminster Abbey (yes Ton it is still a church!)
Background, I was Ton’s (cousin) tour guide last year, and since it was his first time, I had the liberty to say whatever I want to describe a particular place, some were true and some were just my BS, I thought he knew that at times I was just making up some stories but apparently he did not until the latter part. Anyway, when I brought him to Westminster Abbey, I had to convince him that I was telling the truth, he said it could not have been Westiminster Abbey because he said “This is a church!” he had to see the sign for himself before he realised that IT IS A CHURCH!

Ok, back to the present. Apart from the sights we also had lunch at the 1-Michelin Star Maze by Gordon Ramsay, we had coffee a few times to include a visit at Milk Bar – love the place and we had roast duck for dinner at Gold Mine, I’ll blog them all separately next time. Super Yummy!

I was also able to stick my Roving Epicure sticker on this board. Yey!

We also took the bus on Selwyn’s request, it was one memorable bus ride (long story, for next time).

Went around SOHO, going into little pastry shops to just look-see.

These two shots was taken from a place called Yauatcha. It looks really interesting and the place was packed with people.
The sky began to clear up just before sunset, a good sign for today. Finger’s crossed but I can see blue skies now as I am writing this post.
Till then…
